The structural elements that comprise Power Transmission Lines, among which are electro-mechanical Hardware and Fittings, are vital for their performance, where failure of just one of such elements may cause the shutdown of currently interconnected transmission systems. This may cause the interruption of energy supply to large consumption centers or even to entire States, resulting in steep penalties to the power transmission companies, besides serious economic and social consequences.

SADEL has, besides a mechanical laboratory with a 100 ton horizontal tension machine, a set of normalized measurement instruments, devices and gauges that allow full control and monitoring of the productive processes.
SADEL is qualified and has modern instruments (vibration recorders, weather stations), suitable to carry out field measurements of wind vibrations in transmission lines.
